District IV Middle School Honors Festival

The District IV Middle School Honors Festival involves three honors ensembles, an honors choir, honors band, and honors orchestra, all consisting of 8^th grade students who are nominated by school directors and selected by a committee of directors. Each ensemble is directed by guest conductor of notability and each ensemble will hold one evening rehearsal and an all-day rehearsal during the day of the festival performance. Once selected, participants are expected to commit to the rehearsal schedule and performance.
