Popular Music Collaborative

We are thrilled to let you know about a new festival event we are calling the Ohio Popular Music Collaborative. The intention here is to provide an opportunity for students who perform popular music styles to participate in an honor ensemble selected from the entire district.

In short, selected students will participate in online collaborative sessions throughout the fall, then gather in mid-January for a clinic/rehearsal day and a performance.

Please encourage your students to apply and audition by September 15th (the application link is on the website). We’re looking forward to making this an amazing event that will serve as a model of expanding musical involvement.

Sincerely,
