Get Involved: Opportunities

• Attend our events! These are the fall conference, OMEA PDC events, and Hill Day. 
• Apply to be a member of the state board! Applications are sent out through email in the Spring and you will have to be voted into the position.
• Apply for NAfME Chapter of Excellence/Professional Achievement Awards. 
• Attend the National Collegiate Leadership Advocacy Summit in June!
• Attend local District OMEA meetings to meet Professionals in your area. 
• Volunteer for local OMEA events such as Large Group Contest.
• Consider hosting a joint chapter event in your area.
• Visit our booth at OMEA Conference! Send us pictures of your chapter to decorate our booth with at xbucher@bgsu.edu
  
• Connect with OMEA leadership to speak/visit your chapter.
