OCMEA Events

OCMEA State Sponsored Events 2024-2025:

• Fall Conference - November 2nd, 2024 - Capital University
  • A mixed event with both notable music education guest speakers, interactive sessions focused on chapter improvement, OMEA leadership guest speakers, and OMEA Adjudicated Events sight reading sessions. Learn the inner workings of Sight Reading! 
• OMEA PDC Meetings - February 6-8th, 2025 - Cleveland
  • There will be two OCMEA led events during the PDC. One will be a formal business meeting, with each official chapter sending at least one representative. The other will be a social event with breakfast.
• Hill Day - Ohio - March (TBD), 2025 - Ohio Statehouse
  • We will attend personal meetings with legislators on Capitol Hill in business attire, and advocate for music education at the state level! This event will follow the same form as the national Hill Day.
