A mixed event with both notable music education guest speakers, interactive sessions focused on chapter improvement, an esteemed teacher's panel, and a live rock band performance!
Check-in will open at 9:45am, with our first session beginning at 10am.

OMEA PDC Meetings - January 29-31st, 2026 - Columbus
The 2026 Conference runs from 9:30 AM, Thursday, January 29th - 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 31st at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
All-Collegiate Seminar - Thursday January 29th, 3:30pm
The OCMEA State Board will lead a town hall session in which chapters from across the state will discover more about our mission and our responsibilities. We will also open the floor to discuss what different chapters from across the state are doing, in an effort to brainstorm ideas and help support each other. Attendance is strongly encouraged for all OCMEA members, especially members holding executive positions in their chapter
Breakfast Forum - Friday January 31st, 8am
The OCMEA State Board will host an all-collegiate breakfast with special guest speakers, Amanda Karhuse and Kim Bruguier of NAfME. All members who added this event during PDC registration are encouraged to join for breakfast, guest speakers, and inter-collegiate networking opportunities. OCMEA members who did not register are welcome to attend to hear guest speakers and network.
Booth - We will have stickers, advocacy letters, and a photo op at our booth!
Music In Our Schools Month - Ohio - March, 2026
Last year at OMEA PDC, constituents signed letters advocating for music education to send to local representatives. We plan to have an advocacy event this year as well!
