August Marching Band Update

Greetings!

Thank you to all those working hard to get copyright documentation complete and uploaded before the deadline, it is very helpful for our early season Local Event Chairs.

Please take 30 seconds and update your band profile on the OMEA Website!!
  • I neglected to ask for the number of performers and number of vehicles in the original version in May
  • Go to the website; click "Members Area" to Login > Register (upper left) >Marching Band
  • Click the blue "profile" button, then "edit response"
  • The transportation fields are right below Minimum Class, and # of performers is right below Additional Staff
  • You might also take a minute to update any blank fields (soloist names, field commander(s), staff) to ensure this info is included in the printed program at each event.

Updating Competition Suite
  • If nothing has changed (you have not changed schools/jobs for example) you don't need to do anything for this season. If you have new staff members you can add them at any time via the CS website
  • If you are at a new school that participated in OMEA MB last yearclick this link, and enter your new school name in the "Find Existing Group" field.  Add yourself as the "administrator" and click "Complete Membership"
  • If you are a band that did not participate in OMEA MB events last year, but HAVE a CS account, use this link, and click "New Group" and then complete all the fields, listing yourself as the "administrator". Then click "Complete Membership"
  • If you have never used Competition Suite before, see the attached document to create an account and to set up your band
